Chucklefish Boosts Employee Salaries to Offset Rising Living Expenses

Chucklefish, the game development studio behind Wargroove, has announced a significant pay increase for all employees, with salaries rising by £4,000 ($4,610) in response to the increasing cost of living in Europe. This update was shared on Twitter by the studio's community manager, Alexis Trust. The latest pay rise comes after the company introduced a 10% salary increase in April. According to Trust, the decision to share this news is partly to demonstrate that it is possible to prioritize employee well-being without sacrificing creativity. As the UK continues to experience rising energy costs, with warnings issued by utility providers such as British Gas, Chucklefish's move aims to support its staff during challenging times. Additionally, the studio has also adopted a four-day work week schedule, which was implemented last year.
