Rogue Games Adopts Four-Day Workweek
Rogue Games, a video game publisher, is transitioning to a permanent four-day workweek starting this September, as announced by CEO and co-founder Matt Casamassina on LinkedIn. Casamassina acknowledged potential challenges but expressed confidence in the company's ability to adapt without disrupting services for developers, partners, or customers. "From an external perspective, the change should be seamless, and I expect it to boost productivity and focus among employees during their working hours," he said. As part of the new schedule, all employees will have Fridays off and will not be required to work extra hours. According to Casamassina, the extra day off and permanent three-day weekend will have a substantial positive impact on employees' personal lives. By adopting this new schedule, Rogue Games joins a growing list of companies embracing the four-day workweek.
