This move comes after THQ acquired the Alone in the Dark IP from Atari in 2018. Additionally, THQ Nordic revealed a new South Park game, though details were scarce, with only the logo of South Park Digital Studios being showcased. Other notable announcements included Wreckreation, an open-world racing game by Three Fields Entertainment, SpongeBob SquarePants - The Cosmic Shake from the developers of SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated, and AEW: Fight Forever, the inaugural wrestling game from Yuke's, the original developer of WWE games before parting ways with 2K.
