Fab Unveils Spring Sale and Showcases Recent Enhancements to its Unified Content Marketplace

Since its launch in October, Fab has evolved as Epic's unified content marketplace, offering a vast array of digital assets for game developers and creators. The platform is set to launch its spring sale on April 22nd, featuring discounts of up to 70% on over 60,000 products across all categories. Additionally, users who make a purchase of $25 or more will receive a complimentary 6-month subscription to Adobe Substance Painter and Modeler. The spring sale will conclude on April 29, while the Adobe promotion will run until May 31. Following its launch, Epic has introduced several updates to Fab, including improved search results, new filters, and an enhanced user interface. In response to community feedback, the Fab team has incorporated a wishlist feature and the ability to link Q&A forum threads with product listings. Epic has ambitious plans for Fab's future, focusing on enhancing the user experience, adding new content, and introducing features such as text reviews and one-click import into various game engines and 3D tools. As a one-stop destination for digital content, Fab allows users to browse and find assets, including 3D character models, environments, VFX, audio, animations, plug-ins, and more, compatible with Unreal Engine, Unity 3D, and other digital content creation tools. The platform also integrates with Unreal Engine 5 and offers Fortnite-ready assets through its UEFN integration. The home page features links to different channels, enabling easy searches for assets compatible with Unreal Engine, UEFN, and Unity. A featured products bar showcases assets from popular creators and studios. Furthermore, Fab is the new home for Quixel Megascans, offering over 17,000 high-fidelity assets, including 1,500 top-quality photorealistic assets available for free to all users. The platform features filters such as format, license type, price, ratings, style, and technical features, making it easy to find the right assets. A next-generation real-time 3D viewer allows users to inspect assets from all angles, ensuring informed purchasing decisions.
