The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Remains at the Top of UK Boxed Charts

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom secures its second week at the top of the UK Boxed Charts, experiencing a 73% decline in sales compared to its debut week. Although this decrease may seem significant, it is not uncommon for highly anticipated games that achieve substantial first-week sales. Upon its release, Tears of the Kingdom became the year's largest boxed launch. After just two weeks, it has surpassed Link's Awakening on Switch and Ocarina of Time 3D on 3DS, becoming the sixth best-selling Zelda game in UK history. This week, LEGO 2K Drive enters the charts at No.7, with 37% of its physical sales attributed to the PS5, 31% to the Nintendo Switch, 18% to Xbox, and 14% to PS4. A promotional offer from Amazon has boosted Pokémon Scarlet back into the Top Ten, with a 124% sales increase, catapulting it to No.6. Meanwhile, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has seen a 21% sales jump, remaining at No.8, and Skyward Sword HD has experienced a 342% sales surge, now at No.14, following a sale at UK supermarket Asda.
