Resident Evil 4 Remake Maintains Top Spot in UK Retail Charts

For the second consecutive week, Resident Evil 4 Remake led the UK retail game sales, despite experiencing a 69% decline in sales compared to the previous week. The game remained well ahead of its closest competitor, FIFA 23, which climbed to second place with a 34% increase in sales, pushing Hogwarts Legacy down to third. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 jumped two places to fourth, thanks to a 58% sales boost driven by discounts and promotions. In total, 34 games in the Top 40 saw a week-on-week sales increase due to various sales events. Notably, Gotham Knights saw a remarkable 999% sales surge, allowing it to re-enter the charts at sixth place. Additionally, Super Mario Odyssey enjoyed a 5% sales uplift, attributed to the sales of Switch hardware bundles and ongoing promotions tied to The Super Mario Bros Movie, set to release in cinemas.
