Metacore Acquires Everdale from Supercell

Metacore, a mobile gaming company, has taken ownership of Everdale, a multiplayer mobile title previously developed by Supercell. The acquisition, which includes all of the game's assets, follows Supercell's decision to cease development on the project in October 2022. As part of the acquisition, Metacore has appointed Johannes Peltola as the game lead to oversee the development of Everdale. According to Metacore CEO Mika Tammenkoski, the company recognized the potential in Everdale, given Supercell's reputation for producing high-quality games. Tammenkoski expressed enthusiasm for the challenge of exploring Everdale's market potential and broadening its player base.
