Justin Roiland Steps Down as Squanch Games CEO

Justin Roiland has officially relinquished his role as CEO of Squanch Games, as announced by the studio behind High on Life in a recent tweet, stating that his resignation was accepted on January 16. Despite this change, Squanch Games has assured continued support for High on Life, released on December 13, 2022, and vowed to develop more games that cater to their fans' tastes. As co-founder of the studio, Roiland's departure follows his recent felony charges, including domestic battery and false imprisonment. Furthermore, Adult Swim, the distributor of Rick and Morty, has also severed its ties with Roiland, with a spokesperson confirming the end of their association. Although Rick and Morty is set to continue, sources indicate that Roiland's voice roles will be recast.
