BioWare Says Goodbye to Mac Walters
After almost 20 years at BioWare, Mac Walters has decided to step away from the studio, as announced by the developer in a recent LinkedIn post. Walters expressed his gratitude for the life-altering experience he had at BioWare, noting that it was a tough decision to leave. He reflected on his time at the studio, highlighting the opportunity to work with exceptional individuals and be part of remarkable teams and projects. Walters has updated his LinkedIn profile to indicate that he is currently on a career break, pursuing personal interests. Throughout his tenure at BioWare, Walters accumulated credits on notable titles such as Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Jade Empire, before moving on to the Mass Effect series, where he held senior and lead writing positions. Additionally, he served as creative director for Mass Effect Andromeda and was production director for the forthcoming Dragon Age game at the time of his departure.
