Gamescom Asia x Thailand Game Show has revealed the full roster of exhibitors slated to appear at the 2026 edition of the event, confirming the participation of heavyweight publishers such as Capcom, Bandai Namco and The Pokémon Company, alongside representatives for Nintendo and PlayStation operating through local partners. While Sony’s own booth was absent from last month’s Gamescom in Cologne—a stark contrast to the visible presence of Nintendo and Xbox—the Thai‑based showcase will still feature a broad mix of hardware and software firms.
Notable names joining the line‑up include 4Divinity, Elementa, Gryphline, Kuro Games, Razer, AMD, Lenovo and a host of other industry players. The exhibition’s business area is set to host pavilions from twenty‑five different countries and regions, expanding the international flavor of the show. Among the national showcases will be dedicated spaces for Austria, Germany, the Philippines, South Korea, Spain and the host nation Thailand, each offering visitors a glimpse into local development talent, market trends and cultural influences that shape the gaming ecosystem in those territories. Beyond the exhibitor halls, the programme incorporates a series of pitch and reverse‑pitch competitions designed to foster collaboration between developers, publishers and investors.
Xsolla will sponsor the “Invest Circle and VIP XPerience,” a curated networking environment where emerging studios can meet potential backers and seasoned publishers can scout fresh IP. These sessions are intended to accelerate funding cycles and spark cross‑border partnerships, reinforcing Gamescom Asia x Thailand’s role as a catalyst for business development in the region. The business area will also host a packed speaking schedule, featuring more than 70 presenters from over twenty countries across four dedicated stages.
Industry veterans and rising stars alike will share insights on topics ranging from game design philosophy to emerging technologies such as cloud gaming, AI‑driven content creation and the future of esports. Highlighting the keynote slot is John Romero, co‑founder of Id Software, who will deliver a talk titled “Why We Still Make Games.” Romero will also be honoured with this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award, recognizing his pioneering contributions to the medium.
Other confirmed speakers include Nick Herman and Dennis Lenart of AdHoc Studio, who will discuss independent development strategies; Zhen Fang, Vice President of Roblox and head of its international division, who will explore the growth of user‑generated content platforms; Jane Lau, head of production at Tencent, who will provide a perspective on the Chinese market; Emilio Coppola, executive director of the Godot engine, who will talk about open‑source tooling; and Yoan Fanise, creative director and founder of DigixArt, who will share his experience in narrative‑driven game creation. The event is a joint effort between Koelnmesse, Show No Limit and Online Station. "This year we are placing an even stronger emphasis on internationality," said Prakash Ramajillu, General Manager for Asia‑Pacific at Koelnmesse.
He added that the show will bring leading global gaming brands to the entertainment zone while expanding the business area with additional country pavilions, enhanced networking opportunities and increased support for indie developers through a dedicated indie zone and a Thailand Pavilion backed by the Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa) and the Thai Game Software Industry Association (TGA). Show No Limit CEO Pongsuk Hiranprueck highlighted the significance of the Thai market: "Last year’s success, with over 200,000 attendees, proves that Thailand is not merely a consumer market but a driving cultural and creative force across Asia." The 2026 edition will take place at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok from October 29 to November 1.
The business area will be open exclusively to industry professionals and media on October 29 and 30, providing a focused environment for B2B meetings, press briefings and partnership negotiations. For context, the inaugural Gamescom x Thailand Game Show in 2025 attracted 206,159 visitors from 95 countries, and its business area welcomed 5,590 professionals representing 81 nations over four days. Those figures underscore the rapid growth of the event and its importance as a regional hub for gaming commerce, culture and innovation.
Organisers expect the 2026 edition to surpass those benchmarks, leveraging the expanded exhibitor list, broader country representation and an enriched conference agenda to cement the show’s status as the premier gathering for Southeast Asian and global gaming stakeholders.
