BGFG Expands Portfolio with Acquisition of N4G, TechSpy, and More

By Gamers For Gamers (BGFG) has taken ownership of N4G, a prominent games media aggregator website. The acquisition also includes the incorporation of FilmWatch, TechSpy, and AnimeShinbun into its portfolio, all of which were previously managed by Hava Media. BGFG has committed to enhancing the user experience of N4G through various fixes, performance optimizations, and personalized features, collaborating closely with the site's existing community manager, Christopher Goodno. Andrew Kirkcaldy, CEO of BGFG, expressed enthusiasm for the acquisition, stating, "The opportunity to purchase N4G was one we couldn't pass up. This community has consistently demonstrated its vitality, and we're confident that by working together with the existing team, we can unlock its full potential." N4G co-founder Vegard Aure reflected on the site's origins, saying, "Over 15 years ago, we launched N4G with a simple objective: to create the most comprehensive news portal for gamers. Today, it's heartening to see the site has become a thriving hub for one of the most dynamic online gaming communities, and we look forward to seeing it flourish under the BGFG umbrella." This move follows BGFG's acquisition of VideoGamer last year, adding to the company's growing portfolio, which already includes WePC, PC Guide, Tablet PC Comparison, Headphones Lab, and Silent PC Review.
