Although the video industry experienced the most significant growth at 14.4%, reaching £4.43 billion, gaming remained the top-grossing sector. Digital game sales dominated the market, with an estimated value of £4.17 billion, representing a 3.1% year-on-year increase, while physical sales declined by 4.5% to £488 million. Console downloads saw a notable 12.2% increase, amounting to £724 million, and mobile gaming experienced a modest 3.2% growth, generating £1.48 billion in revenue. ERA CEO Kim Bayley noted, 'Gaming continues to lead the entertainment market, driving innovation and excitement, despite its growth being lower than that of video or music.'
