GamePlay Space Closes After Eight Years of Operation

After eight years, GamePlay Space, a non-profit co-working space for game development, has ceased operations. Founded by Execution Labs, Concordia University, and other local entities, the organization struggled to remain viable amidst the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent shifts in the work environment. Despite its closure, the organization remains committed to the values of knowledge sharing and support within the gaming industry. In a statement, they expressed confidence that their community would carry on the legacy of GamePlay Space, preserving its spirit in future endeavors.
