November Sees 21% Surge in Viewership for Facebook Gaming

The latest State of the Stream report from StreamElements and Rainmaker.gg reveals that in November, Twitch garnered 1.6 billion hours of viewership. Notably, this marks a period of stagnation for the platform since it surpassed two billion hours watched in January. Meanwhile, YouTube Gaming experienced a decline, with 244 million hours watched in October, down from its August peak of 305 million hours. In contrast, Facebook Gaming demonstrated a 21% increase in November, reaching 414 million hours watched. The debut of God of War Ragnarok on Twitch was also noteworthy, with 38 million hours watched. StreamElements' yearly data highlighted that only five new releases in 2022 achieved top monthly views on Twitch, including Lost Ark, Elden Ring, Overwatch 2, Fifa 23, and God of War Ragnarok. The top games on Twitch for the year, from January to November, include: League of Legends with 1.4 billion hours, Grand Theft Auto V with 1.3 billion hours, Valorant with 1 billion hours, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive with 660 million hours, Apex Legends with 577 million hours, Fortnite with 529 million hours, Dota 2 with 497 million hours, and Minecraft with 494 million hours.
