Testronic has announced a series of high‑level appointments across its worldwide operations, most notably naming Mike Guttman as Vice President of Senior Partnerships. Guttman arrives with a robust background in the interactive entertainment services sector, having previously held the role of client partner at Keywords Studios and serving as a senior business development manager. In his new capacity, Guttman will be responsible for cultivating and expanding relationships with Testronic’s most strategic partners, ensuring that the company’s service offerings remain aligned with the evolving needs of game developers and publishers. Supporting Guttman’s mission, Nicole Closson has been brought on board as Business Development Manager.
Closson’s mandate is to deepen commercial outreach and provide dedicated support to partners both regionally and on a global scale. Her prior experience includes a tenure at Keywords Studios as an enterprise account executive, where she managed large‑scale client portfolios, as well as a role at Unity where she acted as senior account executive for the Parsec and SyncSketch products. This blend of experience in both client acquisition and account stewardship positions her well to enhance Testronic’s market penetration.
In the European hub of Warsaw, the company has promoted Mateusz Kałuża to the position of QA Director. Kałuża brings a wealth of testing expertise from his previous senior testing assignments at Lionbridge Games.
Speaking about the strategic importance of the Warsaw office, Kałuża noted, “The city combines deep quality‑assurance knowledge, extensive industry experience, and a genuine insight into what developers expect from a testing partner.” He emphasized that continued investment in the local team will allow Testronic to fuse regional talent with its broader global capabilities, delivering consistent, high‑quality outcomes for clients regardless of geographic location. Further strengthening the global partnership function, Lily Guerreiro joins the organization as Global Partnerships Senior Manager.
Guerreiro’s background includes a role as Global Business Development Manager at Keywords Studios, where she oversaw cross‑border partnership initiatives and helped drive revenue growth through strategic alliances. Her expertise in navigating complex, multinational relationships is expected to augment Testronic’s ability to serve a worldwide client base.
The Manila Centre of Excellence, a critical node in Testronic’s service delivery network, has also seen senior leadership additions. Daniel Bowie Soriano has been appointed Senior QA Manager, tasked with overseeing the quality‑assurance operations and ensuring that the Manila team adheres to the company’s rigorous standards.
Alongside him, Ivan Balanay assumes the role of QA Trainer, a position that directly supports Testronic’s investment in the Testronic Academy—a training initiative designed to cultivate the next generation of QA professionals. The company highlighted that Balanay’s appointment “further supports our commitment to developing specialized talent and strengthening the expertise pipeline within our Academy.” Chief Revenue Officer Michael Fitzgerald articulated the strategic rationale behind these appointments, stating, “Our Centres of Excellence bring together talented people, specialist expertise and leadership, and connect those capabilities across a genuinely global organisation.” He added that the recent investments in locations such as New Orleans, Warsaw, and Manila, together with the long‑standing presence in London, serve to broaden the pool of knowledge and skill available to Testronic’s partners. Fitzgerald stressed that by continuously investing in exceptional personnel, the firm can deliver a service model that is player‑focused, partner‑first, and outcomes‑led. The leadership reshuffle follows a broader executive transition earlier in the month, when Testronic named Sonia Kerr as Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Sharon Baylay‑Bell, who moved into the role of company chair.
In conjunction with this change, Michael Fitzgerald was confirmed as CRO, while Samantha Williams took on the position of Chief Commercial Officer. Fitzgerald’s background includes a client‑partner role at Keywords Studios, providing him with deep insight into the client‑service dynamic, whereas Williams previously served as Testronic’s global CRO and head of European operations, bringing extensive commercial leadership experience to her new role. These strategic hires and promotions underscore Testronic’s commitment to scaling its operational capacity while maintaining a high standard of quality assurance across the gaming industry. By reinforcing its senior leadership team with individuals who possess a blend of industry knowledge, client‑facing expertise, and operational acumen, Testronic aims to deepen its partnerships, expand its service footprint, and continue delivering reliable, player‑centric testing solutions to developers worldwide.
The expanded leadership roster is expected to drive further growth, foster innovation within the QA space, and solidify Testronic’s reputation as a trusted global partner for game development studios of all sizes.
