Keywords Studios Expands Global Reach with New Romanian Office

Keywords Studios, a leading gaming publisher, has unveiled its newest location in Bucharest, Romania, as part of its efforts to expand its global footprint. This move comes on the heels of the company's acquisition of art studio AMC last year. According to Vlad Alexandru, head of studio, "Our goal is to play a key role in fostering the growth of Romania's gaming industry, providing local talent with the opportunity to work on some of the world's most popular games." The new studio is also expected to bolster Keywords' global talent pool, which currently boasts over 12,000 employees and is continually expanding. Throughout the year, Keywords has pursued an aggressive expansion strategy, acquiring several game development companies, including Smoking Gun, Mighty Games, and Forgotten Empires. Additionally, the company has strengthened its presence in Australia with the launch of two new offices in the country.
