Gankster Secures $4 Million in Seed Funding

Gankster, a competitive gaming platform, has successfully raised $4 million in its seed funding round. Established in 2021, the Israel-based company provides users with the ability to create teams, monitor match statistics, and discover competitive opportunities. The funding round was spearheaded by Bessemer Venture Partners and Hetz Ventures, with additional participation from Overwolf and Samsung Next. According to Gankster CEO Uriya Schwarz, "The platform offers a unified space for all gamers to grow professionally, bridging the gap between casual and professional players by streamlining the competitive gaming experience." In tandem with the funding announcement, Gankster has introduced Gangkrep 1.0, a reputation system designed to track player behavior both within the app and during gameplay, aiming to combat toxicity and foster a more inclusive gaming environment.
