Asia's Gaming Industry to Reach $41 Billion by 2026, According to Niko Partners

A recent study by Niko Partners forecasts that the Asia-10 gaming market, comprising Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Chinese Taipei, Japan, Korea, and India, will achieve $41 billion in consumer spending by 2026. In 2022, the region's gaming market is expected to generate $36 billion in revenue, with Japan and Korea accounting for 77% of the total. The number of players in the Asia-10 region is projected to surge from 789 million in 2022 to one billion by 2026. Furthermore, Niko Partners' 2022 India Games Market report reveals that India, the world's second-largest gaming market, will see player spending reach $704.5 million in 2022 and $1.4 billion by 2026, with the country comprising 50% of the Asia-10 player base.
