The upcoming Gamescom Asia × Thailand Game Show has released its full exhibitor roster for the 2026 edition, confirming the participation of several heavyweight developers and publishers. Among the marquee names are Capcom, Bandai Namco and The Pokémon Company, while Nintendo and PlayStation will be represented through their local partners.
Notably, Sony did not operate its own booth at last month’s Gamescom, a contrast to the presence of Nintendo and Xbox, which both maintained dedicated stands. In addition to the headline brands, the show will host a diverse array of smaller studios and technology providers.
Participants such as 4Divinity, Elementa, Gryphline, Kuro Games, Razer, AMD, Lenovo and many others will line the exhibition floor, offering everything from indie titles to cutting‑edge hardware solutions. This eclectic mix underscores the event’s ambition to cater to both mainstream audiences and niche market segments. The business area, a dedicated space for industry networking and B2B activities, will feature pavilions from 25 different countries and regions. Represented nations include Austria, Germany, the Philippines, South Korea, Spain and the host nation Thailand, each showcasing their local development talent, publishing capabilities, and market opportunities.
These national pavilions are designed to foster cross‑border collaborations and give visitors a snapshot of the global gaming ecosystem. Beyond the exhibition halls, the programme includes a series of pitch and reverse‑pitch contests, giving developers a platform to present their projects to potential investors and publishers, while also allowing investors to showcase what they are looking for. Xsolla will sponsor the “Invest Circle and VIP XPerience,” an exclusive networking session that promises face‑to‑face meetings between creators, publishers and capital providers, enhancing the deal‑making environment.
The conference component of the business area will feature more than 70 speakers drawn from over 20 countries, spread across four stages. The highlight of the speaking lineup is John Romero, co‑founder of Id Software, who will deliver a keynote titled “Why We Still Make Games.” Romero will also be honoured with this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award, recognizing his lasting influence on the industry. Other confirmed speakers bring a breadth of expertise: Nick Herman and Dennis Lenart from AdHoc Studio will discuss emerging trends in game development; Zhen Fang, Vice President of Roblox and head of its international division, will share insights on building global platforms; Jane Lau, head of production at Tencent, will explore the dynamics of large‑scale publishing; Emilio Coppola, executive director of the Godot engine, will talk about open‑source development tools; and Yoan Fanise, creative director and founder of DigixArt, will reflect on narrative‑driven game design.
The event is a joint effort between Koelnmesse, Show No Limit and Online Station. Prakash Ramajillu, General Manager of Asia‑Pacific for Koelnmesse, emphasized the growing international focus of the show, stating, “This year we are placing an even stronger emphasis on internationality. We are bringing leading global gaming brands to the entertainment area while expanding the business zone with more country pavilions, networking opportunities, and greater support for independent developers through the indie area and the Thailand Pavilion, backed by the Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa) and the Thai Game Software Industry Association (TGA).” Show No Limit’s CEO, Pongsuk Hiranprueck, highlighted the strategic importance of Thailand as more than a consumer market: “Last year’s success, with over 200,000 attendees, is clear proof that Thailand is not merely a consumer market, but a key driving force of culture and the creative economy at the Asian level.” The 2026 edition will be hosted at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok, running from October 29 to November 1.
The business area will be open to industry professionals and media on October 29 and 30, providing a focused environment for trade meetings, press briefings and partnership talks. For context, the inaugural Gamescom × Thailand Game Show in 2025 attracted 206,159 visitors from 95 countries, while the business zone welcomed 5,590 professionals representing 81 nations over four days.
Those figures illustrate the rapid growth and expanding influence of the event within the Asian gaming landscape, setting high expectations for the upcoming edition. Overall, the 2026 Gamescom Asia × Thailand Game Show promises a robust blend of high‑profile exhibitors, insightful panels, and vibrant networking opportunities, positioning itself as a pivotal gathering for anyone involved in the creation, distribution or consumption of video games across the region and beyond.
