Creative Assembly Probes Ex-Employee Over Allegations of Misconduct
British game developer Creative Assembly has launched an investigation into a former employee amid allegations of improper behavior during their tenure at the company. In a statement released on its official Twitter account, the studio announced that it is working with an external party to thoroughly examine the matter. "We have been informed of disturbing and severe allegations concerning a former employee," the company stated. "We acknowledge the importance and difficulty of speaking out about such experiences and encourage those who feel comfortable doing so to come forward. "Our commitment is to provide a secure and welcoming environment for our team members, where their voices are heard. Clearly, we must improve. "The investigation was prompted by accusations from two developers who alleged that a former Creative Assembly staff member was guilty of abuse, bullying, and harassment. GamesIndustry.biz has attempted to contact the accused individual for a statement.
