Testronic has announced a series of high‑level appointments across its worldwide operations, underscoring the company’s commitment to expanding its leadership bench and enhancing service delivery for clients. Among the most notable additions is Mike Guttman, who has been elevated to the role of Vice President of Senior Partnerships. In this capacity, Guttman will be responsible for cultivating and managing relationships with the firm’s most strategic partners, leveraging his extensive background in business development to drive growth and deepen collaboration.
Before joining Testronic, Guttman built a solid reputation at Keywords Studios, where he served as a client partner, and earlier in his career he held a senior business development manager position. His experience spans a range of industries and includes a deep understanding of the challenges faced by game developers and digital entertainment companies seeking reliable quality assurance (QA) and localization services. At Testronic, Guttman will apply this expertise to help shape the company’s partnership strategy, ensuring that senior partners receive tailored support and that the firm’s service offerings remain aligned with evolving market demands. Supporting Guttman in this initiative is Nicole Closson, who has been appointed Business Development Manager.
Closson’s mandate is to broaden commercial coverage and provide additional assistance to partners both regionally and globally. Her previous roles include enterprise account executive at Keywords Studios and senior account executive for Parsec and SyncSketch at Unity, where she honed her skills in managing large‑scale accounts and delivering value‑added solutions.
Together, Guttman and Closson will work to reinforce Testronic’s presence in key markets, offering a seamless interface between the company’s technical capabilities and the strategic objectives of its partners. In the European hub of Warsaw, Testronic has promoted Mateusz Kałuża to the position of QA Director. Kałuża arrives with a strong track record in senior testing roles at Lionbridge Games, where he oversaw complex QA projects for a variety of gaming titles.
Speaking about his new role, Kałuża highlighted Warsaw’s unique blend of deep QA expertise, seasoned experience, and an intuitive grasp of what developers need from a testing partner. He emphasized that continued investment in the local team will allow Testronic to fuse regional talent with its broader global network, ensuring consistent, high‑quality outcomes for clients wherever they operate.
Further strengthening the company’s global partnership function, Lily Guerreiro has joined as Global Partnerships Senior Manager. Guerreiro previously held the title of Global Business Development Manager at Keywords Studios, where she was instrumental in expanding the firm’s client base across multiple continents. In her new capacity at Testronic, she will focus on building and nurturing relationships with strategic partners, aligning service offerings with partner expectations, and driving cross‑regional collaboration. The Manila Centre of Excellence, a cornerstone of Testronic’s operational footprint in Asia, has also seen senior leadership additions.
Daniel Bowie Soriano steps into the role of Senior QA Manager, bringing a wealth of experience in overseeing large‑scale testing initiatives. Alongside him, Ivan Balanay has been appointed QA Trainer, a position that directly supports the company’s investment in the Testronic Academy and the development of the next generation of QA professionals.
Balanay’s appointment is intended to reinforce the Academy’s curriculum, ensuring that trainees acquire cutting‑edge skills that meet the rigorous standards of today’s gaming industry. Chief Revenue Officer Michael Fitzgerald commented on the strategic significance of these appointments, noting that the Centres of Excellence in New Orleans, Warsaw, and Manila, together with the established base in London, create a truly global talent pool. "Our Centres of Excellence bring together talented people, specialist expertise and leadership, and connect those capabilities across a genuinely global organisation," he said.
"The investments we are making in New Orleans, Warsaw and Manila, alongside our presence in London, further strengthen the expertise available to our partners. By continuing to invest in outstanding people, we can deliver an exceptional Player‑Focused, Partner‑First and Outcomes‑Led service to our clients." These leadership changes come on the heels of a broader executive reshuffle earlier in the month, when Testronic appointed Sonia Kerr as Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Sharon Baylay‑Bell, who transitioned to the role of company chair.
In tandem with Kerr’s appointment, Michael Fitzgerald was confirmed as CRO, and Samantha Williams took on the role of Chief Commercial Officer. Fitzgerald previously served as a client partner at Keywords Studios, while Williams held the position of global CRO and head of Europe at Testronic, bringing deep internal knowledge to her new responsibilities.
Collectively, these appointments signal Testronic’s aggressive strategy to bolster its senior leadership, enhance its global delivery capabilities, and deepen its partnerships across the gaming and interactive entertainment sectors. By aligning seasoned industry veterans with key regional hubs, the company aims to provide a seamless, high‑quality service experience that meets the increasingly complex demands of developers and publishers worldwide.
The expanded leadership team is expected to drive innovation, improve operational efficiency, and reinforce Testronic’s reputation as a trusted, player‑centric partner in the competitive landscape of game development and quality assurance.
