With nearly three decades of experience at the magazine, Reiner reflected on his time in games media, expressing his gratitude for the opportunity to work with talented individuals. During his tenure, he oversaw the creation of 330 monthly issues and had the privilege of collaborating with exceptional colleagues. Following his departure, Matt Miller has been named as the new editor-in-chief of Game Informer. Reiner revealed that he is joining a prominent North American game development studio, and his new role was later confirmed as global creative executive officer at Gearbox Software. He expressed his enthusiasm for working with the studio's development teams to create innovative entertainment experiences.
