Ubisoft Clarifies Assassin's Creed Rating and Gambling Concerns

Following the unveiling of Assassin's Creed Mirage, Ubisoft has addressed the incorrect display of an AO for Adults Only rating on certain store pages. The company has confirmed that this was an error and is being rectified. Although the official rating for the game is still pending, Ubisoft has reassured fans that Assassin's Creed Mirage does not feature real gambling or lootboxes, contrary to initial concerns sparked by an Xbox store listing and the display of an AO logo during the Ubisoft Forward livestream. The appearance of the AO rating has been puzzling, given its rarity in recent years due to the reluctance of retailers and digital platforms to support AO-rated games, as well as strict policies from major console manufacturers.
