ReedPop Unveils Engage, a Cutting-Edge Data Platform
ReedPop, the parent company of GamesIndustry.biz, has introduced a novel audience targeting platform, providing unparalleled user insights across its extensive portfolio of events and publications. Dubbed ReedPop Engage, this innovative platform enables advertisers to craft tailored campaigns based on data from attendees of major events like New York Comic Con, PAX, EGX, and MCM, as well as prominent websites such as Eurogamer, Rock Paper Shotgun, Dicebreaker, VG247, Digital Foundry, and the newly launched Popverse. Developed in collaboration with Permutive, a privacy-forward infrastructure provider, Engage leverages data on content consumption, user surveys, event ticket sales, and interactions with physical exhibits and signage. By utilizing Brockman, the in-house platform powering ReedPop's websites, including the revamped GamesIndustry.biz, along with the global ticketing platform Atlas and user survey tool Apester, Engage offers a comprehensive solution. The system is currently live, with plans to expand in the coming months, incorporating additional audience insights from ReedPop's websites and upcoming events like E3. According to Dan Robinson, ReedPop's group vice president of sales, 'Our brands have consistently attracted devoted fans worldwide, and ReedPop Engage allows us to support this with detailed, in-depth data, demonstrating how our users stand out and enabling us to target unique, bespoke audiences that deliver successful campaigns for our clients.' Joe Root, co-founder and CEO of Permutive, added, 'First-party data strategies like those employed by ReedPop Engage are uniquely capable of activating audiences at scale responsibly, and as we move towards a future that prioritizes privacy and doesn't rely on third-party cookies, partners like ReedPop are poised for significant success.'
