Ubisoft Unveils Future of Assassin's Creed with Multiple Titles

Ubisoft has provided a glimpse into the future of its flagship Assassin's Creed series, showcasing the next five titles in the franchise. The upcoming games were revealed during the Ubisoft Forward presentation, which also marked the series' 15th anniversary. The future of the IP will continue to revolve around games, with multiple new titles showcased during the event. Assassin's Creed Mirage, the next mainline release, is set in 9th Century Baghdad and stars Valhalla's Basim, aiming to capture the spirit of the original game. It is scheduled for release on Xbox, PlayStation, PC, and Luna in 2023 and is being developed by Ubisoft Bordeaux. Other titles include Codename Jade, an open-world RPG for mobile set in Ancient China, and two new HD games in development: Codename Red, set in Feudal Japan, and Codename Hexe, with an undisclosed setting. Assassin's Creed Infinity is a platform that will allow fans to access past and future games, with the series' present-day meta story delivered through this hub. The company also announced new content for Assassin's Creed Valhalla, a documentary titled Beyond The Creed, and an expanded partnership with Netflix, including three mobile games with no ads or in-game purchases. Other announcements included a closed beta for Rainbow Six Mobile, a standalone spin-off for Tom Clancy's The Division: Heartland, and updates on various Ubisoft titles.
