The upcoming Gamescom Asia x Thailand Game Show has unveiled its full exhibitor roster for the 2026 edition, confirming the participation of several heavyweight developers and publishers. Among the marquee names are Capcom, Bandai Namco, and The Pokémon Company, while Nintendo and PlayStation will be represented through their local partners rather than direct corporate stands. Notably, Sony will not maintain a dedicated booth at this year’s event, a contrast to the presence of both Nintendo and Xbox, which will each have a visible footprint. In addition to the headline brands, the show will host a diverse mix of technology and game‑related companies.

Attendees can expect to see booths from 4Divinity, Elementa, Gryphline, Kuro Games, as well as hardware and peripheral leaders such as Razer, AMD, and Lenovo. This blend of content creators and equipment manufacturers underscores the event’s ambition to serve both creative and technical facets of the industry.

The business area of Gamescom Asia x Thailand Game Show is set to be a truly international showcase, featuring pavilions from 25 different countries and regions. Among the participating nations are Austria, Germany, the Philippines, South Korea, Spain, and the host nation Thailand.

Each pavilion will highlight local development talent, government support programs, and market opportunities, giving visitors a panoramic view of the global gaming ecosystem. Beyond the exhibition floor, the programme includes a series of pitch and reverse‑pitch contests designed to foster collaboration between developers, publishers, and investors. Xsolla, a leading video‑game commerce platform, will sponsor the “Invest Circle and VIP XPerience,” a curated networking environment where industry stakeholders can meet face‑to‑face, discuss funding prospects, and explore partnership possibilities.

The conference component of the business area will feature more than 70 speakers drawn from over 20 countries, spread across four dedicated stages. Veteran game‑designer John Romero, co‑founder of id Software, will deliver a keynote entitled “Why We Still Make Games,” and will also be honoured with this year’s lifetime achievement award for his enduring influence on interactive entertainment. Other confirmed speakers bring a wide spectrum of expertise.

Nick Herman and Dennis Lenart of AdHoc Studio will share insights on independent development pipelines. Zhen Fang, Vice President of Roblox and head of its international division, will discuss the rapid growth of user‑generated content platforms. Jane Lau, head of production at Tencent, will offer a perspective on scaling games for massive audiences in the Asian market. Emilio Coppola, executive director of the Godot engine, will talk about open‑source development tools, while Yoan Fanise, creative director and founder of DigixArt, will explore narrative design in modern titles.

The event is co‑organized by Koelnmesse, Show No Limit, and Online Station, a partnership that reflects the cross‑regional nature of the show. Prakash Ramajillu, General Manager for Asia‑Pacific at Koelnmesse, emphasized the growing emphasis on internationality: “This year we are placing an even stronger emphasis on internationality, bringing leading global gaming brands to the entertainment area while expanding the business zone with more country pavilions, networking opportunities, and greater support for independent developers through the indie area and the Thailand Pavilion, backed by the Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa) and the Thai Game Software Industry Association (TGA).” Pongsuk Hiranprueck, CEO of Show No Limit, highlighted Thailand’s evolving role in the regional creative economy: “Last year’s success, with over 200,000 attendees, is clear proof that Thailand is not merely a consumer market, but a key driving force of culture and the creative economy at the Asian level.” The 2026 edition will take place at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok from October 29 to November 1. The business area will be open exclusively to industry professionals and media on October 29 and 30, providing a focused environment for B2B interactions before the public doors open. For context, the inaugural Gamescom x Thailand Game Show in 2025 attracted 206,159 visitors from 95 countries, and its business area welcomed 5,590 professionals representing 81 nations over four days.

Those figures set a high benchmark for 2026, and the expanded exhibitor list, additional country pavilions, and enriched speaker lineup suggest that the upcoming show will surpass its predecessor both in scale and in the depth of opportunities offered to developers, publishers, investors, and technology partners alike.
