The upcoming Gamescom Asia × Thailand Game Show has released its full exhibitor roster for the 2026 edition, confirming the participation of several heavyweight developers and publishers. Among the marquee names are Capcom, Bandai Namco, and The Pokémon Company, while Nintendo and PlayStation will be represented through their local partners rather than direct brand stalls.
It is noteworthy that Sony will not maintain a dedicated booth this year, a departure from its presence at the previous Gamescom event, whereas both Nintendo and Xbox will continue to occupy visible spaces. In addition to the headline titles, a diverse array of companies will be on display, including indie studios and technology firms such as 4Divinity, Elementa, Gryphline, Kuro Games, Razer, AMD, Lenovo and many others, reflecting the event’s broad industry scope.
The exhibition’s business area is set to host pavilions from twenty‑five different countries and regions. Visitors can expect dedicated sections for Austria, Germany, the Philippines, South Korea, Spain and the host nation Thailand, among others, creating a truly international marketplace where developers can showcase regional talent and forge cross‑border collaborations. Beyond the exhibition floor, the programme features a series of pitch and reverse‑pitch contests designed to connect creators with potential investors and publishers.
Xsolla will sponsor the “Invest Circle and VIP XPerience,” a curated networking environment that gives developers, publishers and venture capitalists the chance to meet face‑to‑face, discuss funding opportunities and explore strategic partnerships. The business zone will also serve as a stage for more than seventy speakers drawn from over twenty countries. Presentations will be spread across four separate stages, ensuring a continuous flow of insights into game design, technology trends, market analysis and creative storytelling.
A highlight of the speaker lineup is John Romero, co‑founder of Id Software, who will deliver a keynote entitled “Why We Still Make Games.” In addition to his talk, Romero will be honoured with this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award, recognizing his enduring influence on the industry. Other confirmed presenters include Nick Herman and Dennis Lenart of AdHoc Studio, Zhen Fang—Vice President of Roblox and head of its international division—Jane Lau, who leads production for Tencent, Emilio Coppola, Executive Director of the Godot Engine, and Yoan Fanise, Creative Director and founder of DigixArt.
Their sessions will cover topics ranging from indie development pipelines to large‑scale live‑service operations. The event is jointly organised by Koelnmesse, Show No Limit and Online Station, partners who have collaborated to build a platform that bridges the Asian and European gaming ecosystems. Prakash Ramajillu, General Manager for Asia‑Pacific at Koelnmesse, emphasised the growing international focus: “This year we are placing an even stronger emphasis on internationality, bringing leading global gaming brands to the entertainment area while expanding the business zone with more country pavilions, networking opportunities, and greater support for independent developers through the indie area and the Thailand Pavilion, backed by the Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa) and the Thai Game Software Industry Association (TGA).” Show No Limit’s chief executive, Pongsuk Hiranprueck, added perspective on the market’s evolution: “Last year’s success, with over 200,000 attendees, clearly demonstrates that Thailand is not merely a consumer market but a pivotal driver of culture and the creative economy across Asia.” The 2026 Gamescom Asia × Thailand Game Show will take place at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok, running from 29 October to 1 November.
The business area will be open exclusively to industry professionals and media representatives on 29 and 30 October, offering a focused environment for B2B meetings, press briefings and partnership negotiations. For context, the inaugural Gamescom × Thailand edition attracted 206,159 visitors from 95 nations, and its business zone welcomed 5,590 professionals representing 81 countries over four days. Those figures illustrate the rapid growth of the event and its significance as a hub for both Southeast Asian and global gaming communities. The upcoming edition aims to build on that momentum, delivering an expanded pavilion footprint, richer speaker content and enhanced networking programmes to support developers of every size, from indie studios to multinational publishers.
Attendees can look forward to hands‑on demos of upcoming titles, technology showcases featuring the latest in graphics processing, VR/AR innovations, and cloud gaming solutions, as well as panel discussions that explore the future of interactive entertainment in an increasingly connected world. With a blend of high‑profile exhibitors, robust business programming and a strong emphasis on international collaboration, Gamescom Asia × Thailand 2026 is poised to become a cornerstone event for the regional gaming industry.
