Xbox Introduces More Affordable Elite Controller Option

Microsoft has revamped its Xbox Elite Series 2 premium controller lineup with the introduction of a more budget-friendly Core edition. The existing black Xbox Elite Series 2 controller will still be available for $180, while the new white Core version will launch on September 21 for $130. The key difference between the two is that the Core version does not include the charging dock, carrying case, or interchangeable components such as rear paddles, thumbsticks, and D-pad, which are bundled with the more expensive model. However, Core customers can purchase these extra components separately in a Complete Component Pack for $60. Furthermore, Microsoft has announced plans to add Elite controllers to its Xbox Design Lab customization platform during the upcoming holiday season.
