GamesIndustry.biz Announces Partnership with La Guilde du jeu vidéo du Québec for Best Places To Work Awards Canada

The Canadian edition of our prestigious Best Places To Work Awards will be unveiled and presented at MEGAMIGS, starting from 2022. Through our partnership with La Guilde du jeu vidéo du Québec, the event's organizer, we aim to recognize and celebrate the nation's top gaming companies at Canada's premier gaming show. The winners of the 2022 awards will be announced during the MEGAMIGS Awards gala, taking place in Montreal on October 22. In addition to revealing the top places to work, we will also present special awards in categories such as Diversity, Health and Wellbeing, Education, Environmental Support, and Corporate Social Responsibility, as well as the coveted Best Boss award. According to Christopher Dring, head of GamesIndustry.biz, 'We're thrilled to partner with La Guilde for the upcoming editions of the Best Places To Work Canada Awards. These awards are dedicated to making the games industry a better place to work, and with La Guilde's support, we can reach more studios and achieve our mission.' Gaming companies from across Canada are invited to apply for the 2022 awards, with submissions due by Friday, September 16. The awards are free to enter and open to all Canadian games companies with more than ten employees. The Best Places To Work Awards are based on a two-survey system, with one survey for employers (worth 20% of the score) and another for employees (worth 80% of the score). We have also enhanced our system to ensure underrepresented groups within these organizations are heard. For more information on the awards process and judging criteria, please click here. All responses are kept confidential and deleted once the reporting is complete, and businesses that do not win will not be named. Participants can receive a free report featuring their overall scores, and we also offer benchmarking and advanced reports for a fee.
