The deadline for submitting your entry for the 2022 GamesIndustry.biz Canada Best Places To Work Awards is rapidly approaching, with just two weeks remaining to complete your application. Given the time required to finish the awards process, interested parties are advised to sign up without delay. The awards are open to all Canadian games companies, encompassing developers, publishers, service providers, retailers, and media outlets, with over 50 companies already on board. The judging period concludes on Friday, September 16th. The main award winners will be announced prior to MEGAMIGS, Canada's premier video games industry event in Montréal, while special award winners will be revealed during the event itself, with finalists invited to attend. The awards utilize a dual survey system, with one survey for employers (accounting for 20% of the score) and another for employees (accounting for 80% of the score). A robust red line check system has been implemented to ensure the voices of underrepresented groups within these organizations are heard. All responses are kept confidential and deleted upon completion of the reporting process, with non-winning businesses remaining anonymous.
