Nintendo Downsizes Switch Packaging by 20 Percent

In a move to enhance the availability of its console in retail stores, Nintendo is set to decrease the packaging size of its Switch by 20 percent. According to reports, the company has already initiated this change. By shrinking the packaging, Nintendo hopes to make its console more accessible to customers. For context, the original Switch packaging is notably larger than that of the OLED model, with a size difference of 14 percent. This development comes after Nintendo announced the Switch as its best-selling console ever, with over 103.54 million units sold since its launch in 2017.
