Time's Running Out: One Month Left to Enter Canada's Best Places To Work Awards
The deadline for the GamesIndustry.biz Canada Best Places To Work Awards 2022 is approaching, with only one month left for interested companies to submit their entries. Given the time required to complete the awards process, potential participants are encouraged to sign up immediately. The awards are open to all Canadian games industry companies, encompassing developers, publishers, service providers, retailers, and media outlets, with over 50 companies already on board. The judging period will conclude on Friday, September 16th. The main award winners will be announced prior to MEGAMIGS, Canada's premier video games industry event in Montréal, while special award winners will be revealed during the event. Participants will be assessed through a two-survey system, with employer responses accounting for 20% of the score and employee responses making up the remaining 80%. A robust system is in place to ensure underrepresented groups are heard. For detailed information on the awards process and judging criteria, please refer to our Frequently Asked Questions. All responses will be kept confidential and deleted upon completion of the reporting. Non-winning businesses will not be named. Participants will receive a complimentary report featuring their overall scores, with optional benchmarking and advanced reports available for a fee. Additionally, all participants will receive 5 free job credits to the GamesIndustry.biz Jobs Board. The awards will also recognize winners in special categories such as CSR, Health & Wellbeing, Education, and Environmental support, as well as the 2022 Canada Best Boss.
