Gamescom Asia x Thailand Game Show has released the full list of exhibitors slated to appear at the 2026 edition, confirming the participation of heavyweight publishers such as Capcom, Bandai Namco and The Pokémon Company, alongside representation from Nintendo and PlayStation through their local partners. While Sony chose not to operate a dedicated stand at last month’s Gamescom, its rivals Nintendo and Xbox maintained a visible presence, underscoring the competitive dynamics of the global console market. In addition to the marquee names, a diverse array of smaller studios and technology providers will be on display. Companies like 4Divinity, Elementa, Gryphline, Kuro Games, Razer, AMD and Lenovo are among the exhibitors that will occupy space in the show’s expansive business area.

This mix of hardware manufacturers, software developers and service platforms reflects the increasingly interdisciplinary nature of the gaming ecosystem, where performance hardware, cloud services and indie creativity intersect. The business zone this year will host booths from twenty‑five different countries and regions, with dedicated pavilions for Austria, Germany, the Philippines, South Korea, Spain and the host nation Thailand. These national pavilions are designed to promote local talent, foster cross‑border collaboration and give visitors a taste of each market’s unique gaming culture.

By aggregating such a wide geographic spread under one roof, the event aims to become a true crossroads for the Asian and global gaming industries. Beyond exhibition space, the programme includes a series of pitch and reverse‑pitch competitions that give developers a chance to present their projects directly to publishers, investors and service providers. Xsolla, a leading payment and distribution platform, is sponsoring the “Invest Circle and VIP XPerience,” a curated networking environment where developers, publishers and financiers can meet face‑to‑face, discuss funding opportunities and negotiate publishing deals. The conference side of the business area will feature more than 70 speakers drawn from over 20 countries, spread across four distinct stages.

Among the headline speakers is John Romero, co‑founder of Id Software, who will deliver a keynote titled “Why We Still Make Games.” Romero will also be honoured with this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award, recognising his pioneering contributions to first‑person shooters and game design. Other confirmed presenters include Nick Herman and Dennis Lenart of AdHoc Studio, Zhen Fang – Vice President of Roblox and head of its international division, Jane Lau – head of production at Tencent, Emilio Coppola – executive director of the Godot Engine, and Yoan Fanise – creative director and founder of DigixArt. Their talks will cover topics ranging from indie development strategies and cross‑platform publishing to the future of open‑source engines and the role of large tech firms in shaping gaming experiences. The event is jointly organized by Koelnmesse, Show No Limit and Online Station, three entities with extensive experience in large‑scale exhibition management.

Prakash Ramajillu, General Manager for Asia‑Pacific at Koelnmesse, emphasized the show’s growing international focus: “This year we are placing an even stronger emphasis on internationality. We are bringing leading global gaming brands to the entertainment area while expanding the business zone with more country pavilions, networking opportunities, and greater support for independent developers through the indie area and the Thailand Pavilion, backed by the Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa) and the Thai Game Software Industry Association (TGA).” Show No Limit CEO Pongsuk Hiranprueck added perspective on the market significance of the Thai audience: “Last year’s success, with over 200,000 attendees, is clear proof that Thailand is not merely a consumer market, but a key driving force of culture and the creative economy at the Asian level.” This sentiment reflects the broader trend of Southeast Asia emerging as both a massive player in game consumption and an increasingly vibrant hub for development talent. The 2026 edition will be held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok, running from October 29 to November 1. The business area will be open exclusively to industry professionals and media representatives on October 29 and 30, providing a focused environment for B2B meetings, press briefings and partnership discussions.

Looking back, the inaugural Gamescom x Thailand Game Show attracted 206,159 visitors from 95 countries, and its business zone hosted 5,590 professionals from 81 nations over four days. Those figures illustrate the rapid growth and international appeal of the event, positioning it as a cornerstone of the Asian gaming calendar and a vital platform for developers seeking exposure to both regional and global markets. The expanded pavilion lineup, enriched speaker roster and enhanced networking programmes for 2026 promise to build on that momentum, delivering an even more dynamic and inclusive experience for all participants.
