David Polfeldt Joins PlayerUnknown Productions as Senior Advisor

Following his departure from Ubisoft, David Polfeldt has joined PlayerUnknown Productions as a senior advisor. Polfeldt, previously the MD of Ubisoft Massive, was approached by founder Brendan 'PlayerUnknown' Greene after the two met at a recent conference. Greene believed Polfeldt's expertise would be invaluable in helping to establish a positive and productive studio culture. In his new role, Polfeldt aims to provide guidance to Greene in creating an authentic and successful brand identity. Prior to this appointment, Polfeldt had been on a six-month sabbatical from Ubisoft Massive, where he served as managing director since 2005. PlayerUnknown Productions, founded by Greene last year, is focused on developing large-scale digital experiences through applied research and development.
