Diablo Immortal Reaches $100 Million Milestone in Lifetime Revenue
The global player spending for Diablo Immortal has exceeded $100 million across both the App Store and Google Play, just two months following its launch. According to data from Sensor Tower, the game reached this milestone in eight weeks, making it one of the fastest mobile games to achieve this feat. For comparison, Pokémon GO by Niantic took approximately two weeks to hit the same figure, while Nintendo's Fire Emblem Heroes took ten weeks. Other notable titles, such as Epic Games' Fortnite and Final Fantasy XV: A New Empire, took 12 and 22 weeks, respectively, to surpass $100 million. The United States is currently the largest revenue-generating territory for Diablo Immortal, followed closely by South Korea and Japan. In terms of platform distribution, the App Store accounts for 59% of the revenue, with Google Play generating the remaining 41%. Additionally, Diablo Immortal has recently surpassed 20 million global installs and generated nearly $50 million in revenue during its first month. The game's release in China was delayed by almost two months, with NetEase citing the need for improvements to gameplay and 'multiple optimisation adjustments' as the reason for the delay.
